Permaculture eXchange merges with Southern Harvest

Things are changing at Permaculture eXchange. After its AGM in February it was voted to transition Permaculture eXchange activities into the Southern Harvest Association under the banner of Southern Harvest Education with its own subcommittee.

Permaculture eXchange itself was an Association Member of Southern Harvest and all members were automatically provided benefits. What this means now is that Permaculture eXchange membership benefits will be transferred to Southern Harvest.

The Southern Harvest Association is an educational and marketing non-profit incorporated regional food association that covers the Australian Capital Region. It also runs the Southern Harvest Farmers Market in Bungendore.

The courses run by Permaculture eXchange will now be run by Southern Harvest Education, and will in fact be expanded to include a focus on growing food producers and backyard self-sufficiency.
