Each year from June to August events are held across the Canberra region showcasing local fresh Black Winter Truffle.
These are some of our favourite truffle events:
Le Tres Bon, Bungendore
TRUFFLE IS ON THE MENU every day throughout the the local truffle season.
COOKING CLASS & LUNCH – 22 July – $150PP – Chestnut and truffle velouté – Fresh truffle crème brulée.
COOKING CLASS & LUNCH – 29 July – $150pp – Tournedos Rossini – Floating island meringue and fresh truffle
Contentious Character, Wamboin
TRUFFLE LUNCH SPECIAL – $35pp – A truffle lunch special of pizza or pasta with a glass of wine will be available until 31 August.
TRUFFLE HUNT AND LUNCH PACKAGE – $110pp – Participate in a truffle hunt at a nearby farm and then head to Contention Character for a truffle lunch special on Sundays until 6 August.
TRUFFLE DINNER – Join Contentious Character and Blue Frog Truffles on 12 August for a very special truffle dinner with paired wines, from our Founders Museum Collection, and a Truffle ‘taste and learn’ experience led by Blue Frog.
Turalla Truffles, Bungendore
TRUFFLE HUNT AND COOKING ADVENTURE – $75-$180pp – Participate in the truffle hunt or the cooking class and lunch or choose the whole truffle experience on select dates until 6 August.
Pialligo Estate, Pialligo
12 WEEKS OF TRUFFLE INDULGENCE – Unearth the secrets of Canberra’s best truffles, we will be featuring a truffle dish each week over the 12 weeks of the Truffle Festival in our Garden Pavilions. From chicken, truffle risotto with chicken and green pea to truffled brie, the chefs will awaken your tastebuds and expand your horizons with one of Canberra’s best assets.
