The Canberra Symphony Orchestra will be performing in Queanbeyan at the new park area near Queanbeyan River, and Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council are looking for food vendors who offer local produce which is fresh, fun and suit the nature of this event to express interest in attending.
The event will run from 7:30 – 9:30PM on Saturday 4th March 2017 and vendors will be asked to arrive two hours before this time for set up. This scheduling may change.
Queanbeyan Palerang Regional Council are committed to supporting local businesses and are asking local food vendors to be involved in this exciting new event. The event will be a showcase of the best local food and wine the Queanbeyan-Palerang region has to offer. This is a first for our region and a relatively new event site but Council expect 1000 – 2000 people at the event. Only a handful of vendors will be selected and power is located on site.
Council have applied and were successful in lifting the alcohol free zone for the evening. This means people can be offered tastings and samples if the vendor has a licence.
If interested please complete the online application ASAP – note the drop down for this event called ‘symphony by the river’ .
Applications are welcome before COB 17 February 2017.

If you know of any local suppliers who would like to be involved please inform them of this opportunity.
