Share in delicious tastings from local arisanal producers Bent Shed Produce, Flat Out Produce, Australian Mountain Pepper/The Braidwood Food Company, Paydirt Eatery pop-up, Corang Estate Wines, Stone Dog Meadery, L’Air du Wombat Truffles and of course Dewsbury’s.
Also included in the day will be tours, live music, children’s activities and guided tastings.

At Dewsbury’s the mission is to produce ethically raised, high quality pork and breeding stock with a focus on sustainability as well as conservation of critically rare breeds. They strive to provide every pig, not matter how long or short their time is on our farm, with a natural, happy and healthy life.Farm tours will be offered at intervals during the day as well as pig-on-a-spit pulled pork rolls and charcuterie.

Australian Mountain Pepper will be offering a mini workshop and info session focusing on our local native Australian Mountain Pepperberry. You will be able to taste the unique flavour profile of this regional native pepperberry and experience it in combination with wine and other foods. You will also have the opportunity to buy some of Tim’s fabulous pasta, pepper salt mixes and flat breads to take home.

Zac from Paydirt Eatery will be cooking up a storm of Pork dumplings with Dewsbury pork and The Braidwood Food Company’s unique pepperberry wrappers.

Bent Shed Produce specialise in Australian Native Produce and bush-ranged poultry products.. They grow, source, and create a range of products from their Tarago property. They also provide information and training on the growing and use of Australian native produce in everyday cooking.

Flat Out Produce has created a range of handmade infused extra virgin olive oils, including native Pepperberry, mint, chilli, thyme and garlic. Their range also includes olive leaf teas and hand crafted dukka. Their fabulous Olimia Estate extra virgin olive oil and tea leaves are sourced from the local Aminya Grove at Captains Flat. For those who would like to expand their olive oil knowledge, Kerenza will lead you through olive oil appreciation and tasting workshop. Explore the taste of different olive oils and learn what makes extra virgin olive oil ‘extra virgin’ and other interesting olive oil facts.

Corang Estate will have their award-winning range of wines on offer and Michael will be talking about wine and food pairing and why different flavours match various pork and pepperberry dishes.

Much like wine and beer, our Meads pair well with different foods. Stone Dog Meadery is a small artisan brewing company dedicated to giving you a new taste experience. Mead. Their Meads are produced on a small scale allowing them to craft truly outstanding beverages. Steve and Lavender focus on using honey from single sources, this allows for the unique flavours found in these honeys to be presented to the drinker in many and varied ways.
