Want to know where you can do a gourmet cooking class?  Which farmers markets are on this weekend?  Which local restaurants are hosting special events?  Or just looking for something interesting to do?

As a service to the ACT and Southern NSW community, Southern Harvest operates a Community Events Calendar.  Southern Harvest members (find out how to join) and non-profit organisations can have their events included on this calendar.  The only constraint is that the event must be about food (or drinks), farming, or managing our land, and if the event involves the sale of food, a significant proportion should be locally grown.

To include your event on the calendar, send an email to us and include the following information:

  • Name of the event
  • Date
  • Time
  • Place (include full address)
  • Cost
  • Description of the event that is written in a way that is ready for publishing
  • Website and/or contact details for people to ask questions
  • One or two high resolution pictures in .jpg or .png format
