Seed Saving 101 with Canberra Seed Savers

In this hands-on workshop, Arian McVeigh from Canberra Seed Savers will demonstrate how seed saving works and how you can get started straight away without technical knowledge or special equipment. And you’ll get to give it a go! You’ll learn how to save and store seed from some popular vegetables and herbs so you have strong, healthy and locally adapted seeds for your own garden and an abundance to share.

Seed saving is easy, economical and empowering! Growing and sharing food seeds is a simple and powerful action to promote biodiversity and food sovereignty. Seed savers steward our heritage and history and build our community and environmental resilience for the future.
