Southern Harvest Association is hosting a twilight wine tasting soiree at Sapling Yard cellar door in Bungendore THIS Sunday 19 February!

The evening will feature a flight of wines to taste from Sapling Yard’s award winning range, and will be accompanied by a series of tasty treats featuring Southern Harvest Members products. We are taking the opportunity to showcase some of the members who make ready to eat products and other baked, preserved, or cooked foods.
Braidwood Food Co. flatbreads with Garlicious Grown Black Garlic hummus and Southern Harvest spring herb pesto. Tilba cheese with summer fruits, Dot’s Homemade Chutney with roast beef and Bent Shed Native Flavours in a summer frittatta! There will be local olive oil, delicious fresh veg and some more surprises on the day.

From the Paddock Italian shortbreads and a strawberry, rhubarb and cardamon cake will satisfy anyones sweet tooth!

These treats are designed to pair perfectly with Sapling Yard’s award winning cool climate wines. Some grapes are grown at a boutique vineyard near Braidwood, with the rest sourced locally.

Winemakers Carla Rodeghiero and Malcolm Burdett have this to say about their wines:

“Grown in these inspiring cool climate surroundings, Sapling Yard produces wines of great flavor and elegance which reflect the natural beauty of the land. Our wines are made with dedication, precision, authenticity and passion, which is clearly displayed in the quality of the wine. We love what we do, and it shows across our range of wines, all with character and of superior quality. ”
