Southern Harvest Supper Club – November Edition featuring Prana Produce
From your garden to your table
This month’s Supper Club is a little different. So far our evenings have celebrated the farmers who grow our vegetables and raise our meat, the food that arrives ready for the kitchen. This time we are going back to where it all begins: the seedling.
Prana Produce is a small family nursery near Braidwood, run by John and Christina, who grow strong, healthy vegetable, herb and fruit seedlings for local gardens. Former chef John spent 22 years in commercial kitchens before turning his hands to the soil, and together they believe that food grown with care is full of life and makes people feel good.
Over a two course shared menu at Scrumpers Kitchen, we will celebrate the journey from a tiny seedling to a delicious plate, and maybe inspire you to grow a little more of your own. Come hungry, and leave with ideas for your spring garden.
