We are very excited for this year’s Festival Launch event at the wonderful NEW Agostinis Restaurant at Lark Hill Winery

Guests will enjoy a three course Italian dinner with matching wines from the award winning Lark Hill.

And if this wasn’t enough, you’ll also get a gin cocktail on arrival and a sloe gin to finish the night, from our very own Hold Fast Distillery at Braidwood.

The evening will feature speakers who are local leaders in sustainability across the food system.

Fiona Buining was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2020 to investigate urban farm ventures that provide vocational pathways for aspiring food growers. She travelled to Canada, The USA, The UK and the Netherlands for immersive experiences at farm training centres in each country. Fiona visited organic small-scale farms, farm incubators and relevant industries and based on her research overseas, has a vision is to set up a soil based outdoor urban farm incubator and training program here in Australia.

Capital Brewing Co. is proud to be Australia’s first brewery to achieve B Corp certification & Climate Active carbon neutral certification for the entire organisation & all products. Capital Brewing Co. partners with local businesses to compost all waste product, and has shared the blueprint for their carbon neutral success in a bid to help other breweries follow in their footsteps.

Representatives from Lark Hill Winery, Agostinis Restaurant and Hold Fast Distillery will also speak about the importance of sustainability and local food systems in the hospitality,  wine making, brewing and distilling industries.
