Christmas Party at the Farmers Market in Bungendore
The Bungendore Farmers Market is having a special Christmas Market on Saturday 23rd of December at the Anglican Church Hall, Butmaroo Street. The market will have extended trading this day from 9am to 2pm. There will be face painting, a jumping castle, Christmas gift tree, Bungendore Choir, buskers, cookie decorating, swing dancing classes, a pig on a spit and extra stalls with all your festive food drink and present needs.
Celebrating Christmas by purchasing locally is a great way to keep our community vibrant! The market stallholders have a great range of meats including turkey and ham. You can get super fresh and organic local veggies and fruit, eggs, dairy, breads and cakes, chutneys, sauces and jams, and of course great cold climate wines that our region so excels at.
Make up your own local gift baskets or hampers, tailored to individual family and friends. Local olive oil, festive garlic braids, fruit leathers, cordials, herbal teas, honey, herb an spice mixes, speciality vinegars, plants, flowers and more.
The Southern Harvest Farmers Markets are on twice a week leading up to Christmas and throughout the festive season. Every Thursday from 3pm to 7pm in Crawford Street, Queanbeyan and every Saturday from 9am to 12noon in Butmaroo Street Bungendore.
