SUNDAY LONG TABLE LUNCH IN THE SQUARE

Join us for a long table lunch in the village square on Sunday as we wrap up Harvest Festival activities for the year.
We are very fortunate to have a special guest appearance by local chef Reece Inkpen! Reece has worked in top-notch kitchens in London, as well as Canberra favourites like Pilot and Paranormal Wines.
Reece is a regular wholesale customer of Southern Harvest and is passionate about cooking with local produce. We are very lucky to have him for the Long Lunch!
Value Life Farm will be providing a pig on the spit for the main course, and Reece will be serving up canapes, seasonal soup, a bunch of fun sides to accompany the pork, and a beautiful plated dessert.

Drinks from Sapling Yard, Capital Brewing Co and non-alcoholic options from Scrumpers Kitchen will be available for purchase on the day.

In conjunction with Bungendore Harvest Festival two Southern Harvest members have collaborated to bring you a unique harvest festival event.
Enhance the harvest with Australian Native Spices! Join Fiona and Jill at Corang Estate Cellar Door & Pantry in Tarago where Fiona of Bent Shed Produce will introduce you to native herbs and spices and how to use them in your everyday cooking. This three-dish cooking demo uses the best of the local harvest and Australian native flavours. You’ll also taste a Corang Estate wine with each of the dishes! Jill will talk you through the wine pairings as you sample the delicious foods.
