    Information:

At Bungonia Creek Wines, Plants and Produce we like to keep busy. David (an ex Strategy Consultant) and Melissa (a Naturopath) retired from Sydney 6 years ago for a quieter lifestyle and have never been busier. We produce high quality wine, vigorous plants and organic produce by following sustainable permaculture and holistic management practices. This includes the implementation of aquaponics systems as a means of producing nutritious food using about 1% of the water for equivalent production in soil. We have recently implemented a Hugel Kulture bed and a wicking bed, both of which aim to use less water than conventional methods. We welcome visitors who wish to learn more about these techniques.

This boutique winery produces several varieties of wine: Sav Blanc, Rose, Merlot, Cab Sav, and our new addition – Shiraz. Our vines are now 20 years old and producing excellent grapes. All are hand pruned, hand picked and biodynamically sprayed during the season. All wines are available to taste at the stall each market day, and at our cellar door on Sundays. We love our wines and we hope you do too. Come and taste them at our stall.
