    Established in 2005 on a Property near Bungendore, Turalla Truffles is set on the picturesque Southern end of the Lake George Basin, a half hour drive from Canberra. We grow "Black Truffle" or "Black Périgord Truffle" (Tuber melanosporum) named after the Périgord region in France.
    During the season (June to August) we sell Truffles at Epic Markets and through Food Lovers in Bungendore as well as on farm. We also run Truffle hunts and cooking demonstrations each Sunday on our farm.

    We specialise in chestnut varieties that are easy to peel and taste good. Chestnuts are available from the Farm Gate from late March to early June. To value add, we roast chestnuts at Fyshwick Fresh Food Markets in Canberra on weekends for 7-10 weeks during winter. We also grow hazelnuts, apples for juice and heritage raspberries.
